Eco-conscious foam interior for optimal protection and a lower environmental impact
A Calvo EC eco-conscious foam interior is fully custom-made for your product. With perfectly fitting cutouts, every component is given a fixed place, preventing shifting and reducing the risk of damage. Our eco-conscious foam can be processed in the same ways as traditional foam. We can mill, water-jet, cut, die-cut, split, and laminate it.
What is the difference between a Calvo EC foam interior and traditional foam interiors?
Calvo EC foam is closed-cell, just like all other rigid foam variants. The foam can also be processed in the same ways. The main difference is that Calvo Eco Conscious foam is 100% recyclable and meets the requirements of the PPWR legislation. An additional advantage is that the foam is more cost-effective than traditional rigid foam. The quality, lifespan, and degree of protection of both foam variants are identical. An eco-conscious foam interior is suitable for cases, flight cases, and transport packaging, and can be tailored to a wide range of products and applications. Thanks to customization, fragile electronics, medical equipment, tools, measuring instruments, and industrial components remain firmly in place during transport and storage. We can process this foam just like other types of foam, for example, by milling, water-jetting, cutting, or die-cutting. This allows you to combine optimal protection with a sustainable and professional packaging solution.
