A flight case is a robust transport solution designed to transport equipment safely. The name originally comes from the world of touring artists, where equipment was regularly loaded in and out of airplanes. These transport systems are nowadays also used for transport in technology, industry, and the service sector.
What distinguishes a flight case from an ordinary suitcase or crate is the construction. The edges consist of aluminum profiles, the corners are metal corner pieces, and the closures and handles are recessed so they do not protrude. This means of transport is intended to be transported frequently, to be easy to grip, and if desired, to be stacked without damaging the contents.
Aluminum 30/30 mm profile
Our flight cases are constructed from 30/30 mm aluminum profiles. This provides significantly more rigidity and edge protection than light case solutions. As a result, a flight case is suitable for applications where an average (aluminum) case is not strong enough.
Reinforced parts for heavier loads
Flight cases are equipped with reinforced profiles, closures, corner pieces, handles, and hinges. This allows heavier products to be transported safely, even with repeated use and intensive handling. If desired, a flight case can be provided with wheels, so you can roll it instead of lifting it.
Choice of different sheet materials
The sheet material is chosen based on the desired balance between weight, strength, and appearance:
Surface finish: foil or laminate
The finish determines not only the appearance but also the degree of protection in practice. For wooden sheet materials, finishes such as foil or laminate are possible. Foil gives the flight case a sleek and representative appearance, while laminate with an epoxy resin top layer is extra resistant to wear, oil, acids, and heat. Both finishes are available in different colors.
Interior

We build a custom flight case for every product. We do not deliver standard sizes that your equipment approximately fits into, but flight cases that are built based on the dimensions of the contents themselves.
