Interiors for lithography components

A client of ours develops lithography machines for the semiconductor industry. The components are fragile and valuable. Therefore, transport must be safe and controlled.

For this project, we have created foam interiors from LD45 black. This is a fine-celled type of foam. After cleaning, the material can be used in certain cleanrooms. Due to the fine structure, the chance of loose particles is nil. This makes the material suitable for sensitive environments and precision components.

With our 5-axis milling machines, we have created recesses that connect exactly to the components. Each component has a fixed place. This prevents damage, shifting, and contact between parts. The result is a sturdy and tightly fitting interior. Ready for daily use in a high-tech production environment.
